Martin Maloney (Eddie Durkan) from Hardy Bucks

Fresh out of Castletown in County Mayo, we have Martin Maloney AKA Eddie Durkan from Hardy Bucks. Arguably the funniest show to come out of Ireland since Father Ted, Hardy Bucks portrays the life of four lazy but likeable lads from fictional Castletown. The show explores life in small town rural Ireland for a group of lads in their 20s and their attempts to find the craic wherever possible. Martin Maloney is co-writer of the popular series. Besides co-writing the show, Martin also produces and stars in the show as the character of ‘Eddie Durkan’. Martin also starred in the hit show Vikings, The Black Spot, The Damo and Ivor Movie and Republic of Telly. Ben Keaton (Father Purcell) from Father Ted

Ben Keaton is best known for his roll as Father Austin Purcell in Father Ted, declared “the world’s most boring priest” by the sitcoms titular character. “What’s your favourite humming noise?” and home heating options were just some of the high points of Fr Purcell’s conversational prowess. He knew a woman once, but she died soon after.

Ben Keaton also featured in Emmerdale and Casualty and is a former winner of the Perrier Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Festival. Click here to order a shoutout from Father Purcell!
