Giants Causeway Antrim Photograph

Conor McEneaney is a skilled photographer and a native of Dundalk, Co. Louth.

Conor has always been interested in creative arts in one form or another, but is particularly drawn to visual art in the form of photography. He is captivated and inspired by the ever changing coastline of Ireland.

The Giant's Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption. It is located in County Antrim on the north coast of Northern Ireland. Most of the columns are hexagonal, although there are also some with four, five, seven or even eight sides. The tallest are an impressive 12 metres in height.
