Mick Fitzgerald

Mick Fitzgerald is a retired Irish National Hunt Jockey and current TV racing presenter. As well as this, he is also a horse racing ambassador for Paddy Power.

Mick's jockey career lasted over 15 years. At the young age of 16 he began riding out for Richard Lister, followed by a move to the Curragh to ride out for John Hayden. After leaving school at 18 he moved to National Hunt Racing. Despite suffering a spinal injury and his Jockey career being cut short, he is still to this day, one of the most successful jump jockeys of all time, riding over 1300 winners.
